is located in the Victorian countryside, around 2 hours drive north of
Melbourne. The circuit is a feast for spectators, with many outstanding vantage points - the esses at the end of the new start-finish straight always make great viewing, the long, left-hand sweeper at the back of the circuit always produces some great action, and the "cleavage" allows the light, nimble cars to shine. Accommodation is available nearby, at Benalla, and also a short drive north, in Wangaratta. Winton Raceway is an excellent specator circuit, with something to offer everyone... |
