What do I need to do as a competitor to be eligible for the Australian Touring Car Challenge in 2007?

2007 CHECKLIST

First off you need to have a suitable car – Super Tourer, Future Tourer, Group A or ex-V8 Supercar (AU/VT or earlier)

You need to have a valid Circuit Racing Licence – you can get an AASA licence for $210 (application forms through www.amrs.net.au website or click here for licence application and here for medical exam form – you will need to have a medical with your regular doctor). If you are planning on competing in CAMS events in 2007, a valid CAMS licence is ok for use in the AMRS.

You need to have a Vehicle Passport for your car – this is available for $20 from the AASA linked through the AMRS website, or click here.

You need to register for the 2007 Australian Motor Racing Series – forms are available through the AMRS website, or click here, there is no fee for registration. Please note there is NO additional Australian Touring Car Challenge registration required. You will also be issued with an AMRS Registered Competitor card, entitling you to various benefits, as described on the AMRS website.

Entry forms for all eight rounds will be sent out in a single booklet before the beginning of the season. Forms will also be available for download from this section.

What coverage/exposure will I get in 2007?
