Searle is solid in Adelaide while Natalie Wilmington gives a cracking performance in her Mitsubishi Magna Sports

With the return to Adelaide International Raceway after almost 20 years, Sunday morning saw the starter's flag drop and the roar of circuit racing return as round 5 of the AMRS hit the track. Luke Searle in the SAE BMW 130 showed his class again by dominating the three races in the Production Touring Car Championship.

With pole and three race wins Luke could do no more. During the meeting and while the results will show the SAE BMW dominating , the performance of the Magna Sports of Natalie Wilmington can't be underestimated. Showing plenty of determination and guile Natalie led the BMW in all three races. While never being able to ultimately match the pace of BMW she gave Luke Searle plenty to think about.

All three races Natalie battled hard with the Hyundai Tiburon of George Miedecke for the class B win. Natalie taking the honours in race one, George in race two and Natalie coming from behind in race three.

The race for the Class B championship is hotting up and Nat has her eyes fixed on the beautiful Waterford Wedgwood Crystal Championship trophy.

While running strong in all three races the blue Peugeot of Roland McIntosh suffered from set up problems and a broken front shock prevented him from putting pressure on Wilmington and Miedecke. Back in the field Neil Byers had the 380 running strongly and this car still has some way to go before realising it's full potential.

New competitor, Bryan Fitzpatrick a night club owner from Canberra, completed his circuit racing debut in style. Bryan pedalled his Renualt Clio Sports 2002 model with plenty of pace and he has gained enormous experience from his three outings in the car. With more testing at Wakefield Park over the coming weeks look out for a strong showing from the Renault at Winton.

Tony Saliba was strong all weekend in the class C Nissan again taking the class wins.
